Our grammar school offers general education on the highest level, as well as technical education, primarily focusing on science subjects, such as mathematics, physics and ICT. This wide array of studies enables our students to enter a wide range of tertiary studies. For this reason, our classes are devoted to fostering knowledge, practical skills and attitudes important for personal growth.

We are involved in numerous national projects. Students participate in charitable fundraisers, such as ‘Život dětem’ and ‘Bílá pastelka’. They also organize exhibitions of artwork and actively participate in projects on the international level, e.g. Expo Science International. The school has also carried out the Step-by-Step Innovation project and has been involved in the Science Support and Restart projects. The school has been recognized as a Faculty School by the Faculty of Science at Palacký University in Olomouc and collaborates with Univerzita Karlova in Prague and Vysoká škola Báňská – TU Ostrava.

We organize skiing and summer sports courses and trips to destinations like England, Germany, France, Italy and Scotland. Moreover, we host various regional and national competitions and accompany our students to several excursions, exhibitions, plays and concerts. We also host a volleyball league for students and teachers and an annual Christmas soccer tournament.

Our school features a modern language lab, two newly equipped ICT classrooms that are accessible to students even outside of classes. Students also have free access to the Wi-Fi network. A student library has recently been established, offering a collection of fiction, Czech and foreign literature. A total of five languages, e.g. English, German, Russian, French and Italian (an extra-curricular class), are taught here. Specialized classrooms (labs) are further available for physics, mathematics, chemistry, biology and arts. For extracurricular activities, students can join interest groups focused on volleyball and badminton, robotic classes, drama groups and arts classes. The school also offers a physics junior group for younger students that have been keen on science and technology from an early age.

Our school has been able to finish a substantial number of reconstruction projects in recent years. These include a new locker room area, a newly built climbing wall and a brand-new canteen of the highest level.
